Ocala Land Clearing Quotes is a free quote-matching service, not a land clearing company. We pass your request to an independent local provider. How it works

Service area: Ocala and Marion County, Florida

Requests are matched to an independent provider that works in Marion County. Whether a specific job is covered depends on that provider's schedule and travel range, so they will confirm when they contact you.

Cities and towns in Marion County

According to the Florida Department of State, Marion County has five incorporated municipalities:

  • Ocala (county seat; has its own tree removal code)
  • Belleview
  • Dunnellon
  • McIntosh (town)
  • Reddick (town)

Each municipality can have its own development and tree rules. If your parcel is inside one of them, check with that city or town rather than the county.

Unincorporated communities

Much of the county's growth is in unincorporated communities, where Marion County rules apply. Census-designated places include:

Marion Oaks · Silver Springs Shores · Silver Springs Shores East · Silver Springs · Ocala Estates · Ocklawaha · On Top of the World · Rainbow Lakes Estates (partly in Levy County) · Rainbow Park · Rainbow Springs · Liberty Triangle · Lake Kerr

Other unincorporated communities include Anthony, Citra, Fort McCoy, Orange Lake, Orange Springs, Salt Springs, Summerfield, and Weirsdale.

The Villages also extends into part of the county, though it lies partly in Lake and Sumter Counties. Lots inside an age-restricted or deed-restricted community may also be subject to community rules on tree removal. Check those before you request work.

Neighboring counties

Marion County borders Alachua, Putnam, Volusia, Lake, Sumter, Citrus, and Levy Counties. Part of the Ocala National Forest lies within Marion County as well. Land next to or inside the forest may have different access and burning considerations, so mention it if your property adjoins forest land. If your parcel is just over a county line, you can still send a request. We will tell you if no provider is available for that location.

East side, west side

The county spans a wide range of terrain, from the sandy ridges and karst near Ocala and toward the Rainbow River at Dunnellon, to the wetter lowlands along the Ocklawaha River on the east side. Soil, drainage, and access vary enough that two jobs of the same acreage in different parts of the county can be priced quite differently.
